Engagement Session: Polished and Preppy

We absolutely adore this engagement session from Ashley Therese Photography!  The colors make us so excited for the fall and we just love the backdrop that the Yale campus provided for some of these photos.

It was the very first day of the politician’s campaign internship in DC… With no chairs left when Amanda walked into the waiting room, Pasquale being the gentleman that he is, got up to give her his seat. His kind gesture did not go unnoticed by Amanda, neither did his stylish pink tie. The two sat in the waiting room with 6 other interns anxiously excited for this new endeavor but both were intrigued with each other. Little did they know that the internship was not the only thing that would begin on that very day. It was the first day of their love story. Amanda is super crafty and loves all things French. Pasquale loves politics and thinks Benjamin Franklin is the man. These bookworms make the perfect match and after spending any amount of time with them, it’s clear they are head over heels in love with one another. With an armful of their favorite reads and their initialed coffee mugs Amanda gave Ben when they were first dating long distance we headed to the beautiful Yale campus for their engagement session! We ended their engagement session by watching the sunset at nearby Lighthouse Point Park with a suitcase full of cloth hearts Amanda made, sketches of their wedding table centerpieces, and of course more books!
