IT Bride : Kristyn

Meet Kristyn, our It Bride who will be tying the knot in April 2013:

Hi Glitter and Lace readers!  I am just beyond excited to be an IT Bride and to be sharing some of my tips and DIY projects with you all!  My name is Kristyn and my fiancé’s name is Jeff.  I recently graduated from law school and Jeff works in IT.  I share little tid-bits of our life in North Carolina on my blog Carolina Fireflies.  We met at the local dog park and have three adorable furr-babies to thank for our love.  We have been together for almost 2 years and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle and promise forever to such a wonderful man!

Jeff proposed on April 19, 2011 and we will be tying the knot on April 7, 2013 in Durham, North Carolina.  We are about 10 months away and I am itching to really get started with some serious DIY projects!  My biggest project I have planned is all our invitations, save the dates and paper products for the wedding!  I am also just starting to choose the majority of my vendors so I hope to be able to share some tips along the way.  The theme for our wedding is timeless southern romance and our colors are blush, champagne, ivory and black.  I’ve been planning my wedding since I was about five (seriously, I even have a little journal I used to write all my ideas down in as a kid!) and I can’t wait for everything to come together on the big day.  Thank you for allowing me to be an IT Bride and I hope that you find some inspiration from my journey!
