Hi Everyone!I just want to say I am so excited to be posting with Glitter & Lace and I can’t wait to share all my ideas, tips, and wedding DIY projects with you. Right now I am at the half way mark in the wedding planning process. Jeff (my fiancé) and I got engaged last July and have been planning ever since. We are getting married in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on October 7, 2012 which is only 6 months away. Yikes!
We have definitely run into a few obstacles since we both reside in New York City but are planning a wedding in Florida. Everyone has said to me that from this point forward it gets so busy and goes by so fast. I don’t know how some brides pull a wedding off in less than 6 months… that takes some serious talent. The current DIY wedding projects I am working on are mainly stationary & signage, tablescape details like the napkins, menu cards, centerpieces etc.
Our wedding colors are watermelon/coral pink, gray, and soft green. I have recently become obsessed with the color gray and I think it looks so beautiful on tables and stationary.

Our theme is a little bit of old Hollywood glamour (flowers, attire, décor) meets modern beach wedding (stationary, favors, signage). It sounds a bit random but I think it will work out nicely!
